The Metacloud Orchestration service is an engine encompassing storage, network, performance and provisioning. Orchestration uses templates for automating processes and workflows rather than specific tasks. For example, you can use a Heat Orchestration Template (HOT) to configure and deploy stacks. You can access the Orchestration service through the command line interface (CLI) and the Dashboard to perform stack functions. See Implementing Orchestration to use Orchestration in your environment.
Orchestration stacks are defined with templates that describe tasks in terms of resources, parameters, inputs, constraints, and dependencies. Heat Orchestration Template (HOT) templates are written in YAML or AWS CloudFormation templates in JSON.
See Working with Stack Domain Users to allow the Orchestration service to authorize and initiate operations within launched virtual machines.
