Managing Networking Service Quotas

A quota limits the number of available resources. When you try to create more resources than the quota allows, the following error occurs:

$ neutron net-create test_net
 Quota exceeded for resources: ['network']

To view neworking quotas:

In the Networking default quota mechanism, all tenants have the same quota values, such as the number of resources that a project can create.

Note
To modify quotas contact Metacloud Support.

The neutron quota-list command lists projects for which the per-tenant quota is enabled.

 $ neutron quota-list

To view per-tenant quota values:

View the current set of quota limits for the specified project. Non-administrators can run this command without the --project\_id parameter. If per-tenant quota limits are not enabled for the tenant, the command shows the default set of quotas.

$ openstack quota-show --project_id <PROJECT_ID>
